Workshop Notes
This headcovers were made during the 2024 The Open in Cape Town. This beautiful Tweed is the last from a batch that was imported from the UK in 2020 to the US where the workshop started. It used in the very first set Gems Golf headcovers that was made for a friend (Items #2 #4 and #6). The remaining material has travelled with me since then, waiting for a special project. These head covers feature a grey leather top sourced from offcuts sold at a Cape Town market, and a lush red silk sourced from a Thrift shop in Strand and the usual thick black felt inner. There's an elastic band sewn in between all the layers to ensure they remain snug. There are only 5 of these head covers made, 2 of which are already in circulation.
